Telemetry Examples

In order to facilitate the setup and testing of your station and the Dashboard software to receive the FUNcube telemetry data, we are making the following files available.

There are three filetypes that can be downloaded:-

1. .funcubebin Files – these can be “replayed” using the “open session” tab on the Dashboard.

Example 1 – EM 23 Sept 2013 (13kB)

2. IQ WAV Files – These can be “replayed” using your favourite SDR software and the resultant audio can be looped to the soundcard of your computer. This audio can be decoded using the “capture from Soundcard” tab on the Dashboard. This simulates the use of any other type of SDR device being used. (Remember that both versions of the FUNcube Dongle will work directly with the Dashboard, without other software being required.)

3. MP3 Files- These audio files can be replayed using your favourite media player and the resultant audio can be looped to the soundcard of your computer. This audio can be decoded using the “capture from Soundcard” tab on the Dashboard. This simulates the use of a traditional, non SDR, 2 metre SSB radio, to receive the signals.
